MatsGrids Supplies to Tough Mudder Susanna Reid

If you’re a regular watcher of Breakfast TV then close to the end of May you may have seen some of the touching reports that surrounded Good Morning Britain’s Tough Mums event.

Designed by the creators of the challenging Tough Mudder obstacle course, which has significantly grown in popularity over the last few years, the Tough Mums faced a gruelling 5km obstacle course filled with, you guessed it, mud, mud and more mud.

After the success of the previous event, help in September, this time saw 100 mums take to the stage with one of the Good Morning Britain presenters as their team captains. Each one with an inspirational story of their own – see some of the event pictures here.

Funnily enough, that’s not the end of the story though, as we were approached by the course creators as they went in search of materials suitable for creating such a course.

Of course, they couldn’t very well destroy the luscious greenery of a beautiful Grantham park purely for one event, so our protective rubber grass mats provided the perfect solution.

120 grass protection mats later and the team had everything they needed to create an exhilarating event without damaging the ground in the long term.
