About The Black 1.2m Long RecoEdge Plastic Edging Plank
RecoEdge planks are charming, eco-friendly and robust lawn edging solutions that are crafted from entirely post-consumer recycled plastic, a wonderful edging solution for creating crisp separations between two or more landscaped areas. This edging with a unique textured appearance can be used to create defined, long-lasting divisions around both straight or curved edges which will in turn prevent material migration, plants or grass from growing outside of the area and remove crumbly edges. Being manufactured from recycled plastic, this beautiful plastic edging carries a wide range of the benefits which are unique to plastic including being strong, durable, flexible, weather-resistant, strimmer-resistant & rot-resistant. Whilst being incredibly effective for your projects, you are also giving a second life to discarded items which reduces plastic pollution that would otherwise end up in a landfill or even the ocean.
This flexible edging plank which is available in grey, black and brown, can be used for a range of applications which include but are not limited to:
- Flower Beds,
- Vegetable Patches & more
Please note, that although every effort has been made during the manufacturing process to sort the materials, there may still be other recycled materials found within this edging.
Installation of RecoEdge is straightforward too, with the use of RecoStakes which have been designed and manufactured in a range of lengths for use with RecoEdge. To install, dig a trench where you are wanting to install the edging before laying the RecoEdge vertically into the trench. Next, push or mallet RecoStake lengths at approximately 1m intervals just behind the edging and screw the edging to the stake using chipboard screws. Finally, with your edging now in securely in position, back-fill the area to create a smooth surface before landscaping accordingly.
