MatsGrids™ MG40  is an Eco friendly alternative to a concrete base?. MatsGrids™ MG40  offers a lightweight, 100% recycled alternative to a traditional concrete or paving slab base. 

MatsGrids™ MG40 shed base is Quick and easy to install made from 100% recycled plastic, it is lightweight, strong, durable, weather and UV resistant, MatsGrids™ MG40 is easy to cut to size using a hacksaw and using the B-Gard™ edge restraint created the perfect finish to your shed base.  

MatsGrids™ MG40 for shed bases ensures that your shed base is always ventilated because of the open structure of the MatsGrids™MG40 mats allows the soak away of any moisture which ensures your shed base achieves the longest life possible because of the constant air flow.   
Design your MatsGrids™ MG40 shed base to be either the same size as your shed or  larger than your shed and fill the excess MatsGrids™ MG40 with pea gravel to create a French drain which helps to prevent splash back of rain water and soil debris onto your timbers. 
Installation is simple to do by preparing  a level area of either grass, soil, builders sand or pea gravel to Lay your shad base onto. Lay out the MatsGrids™ MG40 on top of a ground cover membrane. Cut the MatsGrids™ MG40 to the desired size.  Lock the the MatsGrids™ MG40 into place using J Pins and finish around the perimeter of your shed base with B-Gard™ edge restraint. Fill your base with aggregate and your shed base is ready for the erection of your shed.

MatsGrids™ MG40  Permeable Paving Soultion is manufactured in the UK from 100 % recycled polyolefin and has been engineered as a lightweight durable, weatherproof permeable paving solution. Colour options are:

The MatsGrids™ MG40  are able to support 320  loadbearing capacity per m2, with a compression strength of up to 10 tonnes axle load in accordance with Din 1072.  

MatsGrids™ MG40  are fully compliant with new planning requirements surrounding driveways to the frount of properties and comply with the Flood and Water Management Act 2010, encouraging the use of permeable surfaces to mitigate against flooding.

MatsGrids™ MG40  can be either gravel or grass infilled and are a durable and eco-friendly alternative surface for permanent and overspill car parks, private driveways, emergency vehicle access lanes, golf buggy paths, helicopter pads, cycle routes, pathways, verge stabilisation and many other uses. 

MatsGrids™ MG40  panels are 330x330x40mm and weights 0.54kgs. 9 panels equals 1 square meter (approx) and will weight 4.86kgs. Installation is very quick and simple and will take 1 person approximately 1 hour to lay 100 square meters.

MatsGrids™ MG40 are 100% recycled and offer environemental compatability which is harmless, groundwater nuetral, weatherproof and UV resistant. PaveMats are resistantant against acid and leaching, alcohol, oil and petrol.
