X-Grid® Plastic Driveway Grids are designed as an environmentally friendly surface to create a gravel or grass driveway. Manufactured in the UK from 100 % recycled plastic X-Grid® is made from material which historically would have gone into landfill.
X-Grid® Plastic Driveway grids are strong and durable tested to 320 tonnes under compression and capable of carrying vehicles with an axle weight of 10 tonnes they are ideally suited for all domestic and commercial vehicles.
X-Grid® is lightweight weighting just 4.9 kgs per square meter, making them easy to install.
The open structure of the X-Grid® Plastic driveway grids means they are fully compliant with the latest planning requirements surrounding driveways to the front of properties and also comply with the Flood and Water Management Act 2010, encouraging the use of permeable surfaces to mitigate against flooding.
X-Grid® plastic driveway grids are very versatile, they can either be filled with an angular gravel up to 20mm in size. The grids will take approximately 72 kgs / sqm. Alternatively the grids can be filled with sol and seed to create the perfect grass driveway which is strong enough to carry the weight of your vehicle without creating ruts whilst protecting the root on the grass from erosion.
