Transforming a Gravel Driveway<\/a> using X-Grid which stops Gravel Migration<\/h2>\n

Black X-Grid is permeable and porous, it complies with SUDs regulations and it\u2019ll protect and reinforce the ground while maintaining and encouraging natural drainage systems.<\/p>\n

Wanting the exterior of your home \u2013 especially your driveway \u2013 too look warm and inviting is prerogative. Not only does this make a good impression on passers-by and visitors, but in the long-term it\u2019s likely to add to the value of your home too.<\/p>\n

Our homeowners on this project were fed up of their cracked tarmac driveway which was full of weeds and exceptionally unappealing. They wanted a solution was easy, quick and that wouldn\u2019t not only leave their home looking great, but also leave some spare cash in their wallet too.<\/p>\n

As one of the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly solutions in the industry, it made sense to recommend our X-Grid.<\/p>\n

The homeowners on this project decided to tackle the job themselves and as X-Grid is easy to fix and lay, there\u2019s no reason you can\u2019t too. Please be aware though, if you\u2019re not a skilled tradesman and you need to remove a previous tarmac driveway covering before starting your X-Grid project, we would recommend you seek professional help.<\/p>\n

They removed the tarmac and levelled out the ground before laying a protective sheet and beginning the installation of 130sqm of black X-Grid.<\/p>\n

The homeowners had previously chosen gravel as their X-Grid filling as they believed it would provide an aesthetically pleasing finish which fitted in well with the surrounding homes and environment. However, rather than just filling their X-Grids, they decided to do something a little different.<\/p>\n

As well as being a practical installation, X-Grid can be decorative too. Rather than filling all of the grids, the homeowners decided to leave a few empty and use our delineators, or parking markers, to create a beautiful pattern on their driveway.<\/p>\n

As you can see on the right, the driveway has been completely transformed from its former condition and they\u2019ve created a look that\u2019s completely unique and looks great even though they were on a budget.<\/p>\n
